Deep Learning and Image processing R&D Director

Before joining iMind, Dr. Mudar was a project manager for research projects related to image compression, image segmentation and deep learning with the School of Computer Science and Engineering at South China University of Technology (SCUT), Guangzhou, China, where these projects are supported by the National Science Found of China (NSFC) and the Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province of China from 2012 to 2022.

Dr. Mudar worked as an associate professor from 2005 to 2009, and as a visiting professor from 2010 to 2018 with the School of Software Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in Wuhan, China. He was an invited lecturer to Computer Science Department at the African University of Science and Technology (AUST) in Abuja, Nigeria in 2009. He worked as a tutor at the Syrian Virtual University (SVU) in Damascus from 2003 to 2005.

Dr. Mudar is an author and co-author of over 90 papers published in referred journals and conferences. He has been a Program Committee Member of many international conferences and an Invited Paper Reviewer for many international journals and conferences. Mudar holds an Electronics Engineering degree from Tishreen University in Latakia, a M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from HUST in Wuhan, China.
